Several faiths still have no acting faith managers, or faith managers that are often busy with other projects.
If you are interested in becoming a faith manager, sending an application is not really the best way to go. Instead, act like one... roleplay your character often enough, make him/her behave with the deity in mind, interact with others and especially with other followers, suggest faith-based roleplays and gatherings, and so on.
If you do that regularly enough, you will be spotted sooner or later, and perhaps given tasks like questing others and so on.
