We are currently experiencing problems with the @forgottenkingdoms.com addresses. If you sent a mail recently and did not get any answer, please resend again, as described below.

Replace builders@forgottenkingdoms.com with dalvyn@gmail.com and prefix the subject with BUILDERS:

Replace publications@forgottenkingdoms.com with dalvyn@gmail.com and prefix the subject with PUBLICATIONS:

Replace applications@forgottenkingdoms.com with themerchantsfriend@gmail.com and prefix the subject with APPLICATIONS:

Replace complaints@forgottenkingdoms.com with dalvyn@gmail.com and prefix the subject with COMPLAINTS:

Replace weddings@forgottenkingdoms.com with weddingsfk@gmail.com

Make sure to include BUILDERS, PUBLICATIONS, APPLICATIONS, or COMPLAINTS in the mail topic, so we know who to forward the mail to.

Check back here from time to time for more information. Those are only temporary measures.

Currently, the "www.forgottenkingdoms.com" address is redirected to where the forum and web site are currently hosted (http://www.gallwey.com/fk). This redirection might be discontinued soon, because we do not own the forgottenkingdoms.com name domain (and those who own it do not feel inclined to let us have it).

To avoid problems, make sure that you update your browser bookmarks as follows:

http://www.gallwey.com/fk/board/ for the forum.

http://www.gallwey.com/fk for the web site.

For all things related to building, as well as various questions, please use one of the mail addresses given above instead of PMing me. I can react much more quickly to mails than to PMs. (Note that other imms might have other settings, but as far as I'm concerned, I will take a mail over a PM any time).

The only exception would be submissions for the Kingdoms' Journal, which can be sent in a PM. That lets you format your text with the usual , , and other BBcode tags.

What if we're not sure what prefix the e-mail would require? Is there sort of a default prefix that's used for "other; not listed" e-mails?

For example if I am e-mailing for complications due to a crash, would that be for applications, or complaints? If niether, should it be labeled OTHER: ?

Then you just have to pick one.

For reloading, applications is generally a good choice.

There is no such thing for the moment.

Maybe that would be a good idea to reintroduce it, along with a more active Roleplay council. That's a whole discussion for another thread though.

We have new email lists set up to deal with the various categories. These are visible in 'help email' and repeated here:

fkapplications@lists.skynet.ie - For special roleplay and characters
fkbuilders@lists.skynet.ie - The area administrators
fkcomplaints@lists.skynet.ie - For any complaints you may have
fkpublications@lists.skynet.ie - For submission of bard works

Should these be left as they stand, or removed, or redirected to a new address?
