what should you do if the item you supplicate can't be used by that char?

Pray to your god.

Most gods will set up a roleplay (maybe with a mob) to let you switch your item for something else.

If you don't get any answer to your prayer within a week, feel free to send a mail to the application address instead. Actually, sending the mail directly to the application address might be better, so the imms can discuss what kind of/if a replacement item is needed.

I think I asked about this a few years ago, but what about these tokens that are received through supplication? I think someone told me that, eventually, quests would be planned (coded) for these. Is this still the case or does your answer to the original question apply, Dalvyn?
