[Event] Mystran gathering

Post by Hviti » Sat Dec 29, 2007 8:14 pm

There will be a gathering of Mystran faithful at the Tower of Balance in Silverymoon to discuss various faith matters and address those hopefuls who have completed their faith lessons.

Originally this was planned for Sunday, but I still haven't heard back from several persons who need to be present at this, so I'm opening up discussion for a time which would be good for all concerned, preferably sometime during the coming week, after New Years but before the weekend (Thursday/Friday if possible).

(1st note: though they would certainly be welcome this meeting is not for the purpose of giving lessons to those hopefuls who are currently progressing through them. Hopefully there'll be another meeting for this purpose soon, but the best way still remains individual appointments)

(2nd note: in the interests of not making this too unwieldy, this meeting is only for those of or concerned with the Mystran faith - i.e. on "faith list Mystra" in some capacity)

Here are some possible times:

Time 1 (if Sunday does work out):

Time 2 (Thursday the 3rd)

All those (except the sunday one) should work for me. Though I can't be 100% sure (I might have to travel without forewarning).

Tandy won't be able to make it on the Sunday or Thursday times, but if they're fine for everyone else then please don't change 'em. :)

Ok, any objections to these, then?

I should be able to attend either of those times. Though, at the moment I'm sick as can be. This cold has knocked me on my backside.

Due to the cold I haven't worked as much as I'd like on Lia's assignments. But both are near completion.

Hope you feel better.

It looks like this will be the time, then, unless there are any objections.

I'm a little confused about a few things. Is this a faithing RP, to catch up, or is this a broad-subject RP open to all members of the faith as well as those who are there to be faithed, quested ect?
Far away and across the field, the tolling of the iron bell calls the faithful to their knees to hear the softly spoken magic spell.

It seems reasonably clear in the first post.. a meeting to complete the faithing of those hopefuls who have finished their lessons, ie 'quest complete' and to discuss general matters pertaining to the faith.

All faithful are welcome, hopeful quested and faithed, but this event is not for giving lessons

I won't be able to make it after all. There's been a very recent death in the family and visiting hours are today. Sorry. :(

Great turn out...

I'd like to thank Spaki, Dalvyn for organizing the even. It was great to see many of the Mystrans grouped together and CLOTHED.

It was interesting to meet people that I had forgot I had met.

Spaki sorry I could not get to see your entire tower, i think the floating toilets you have that gate/telport the waste to our enemies temple is a wonderful idea...

Cheers...

Just be careful they don't reverse the gating spell, in order to clog up your toilet, Spaki. That happens quite often, I hear, with wizards who have these new-fangled spangly bright and shiny towers. They get their toilets blocked by jealous wizards.
