Descriptions

Post by Orplar » Mon Feb 04, 2008 12:17 am

Right,

I like to change into different sorts and animals/races with polymorph/shapechange and rp like that, however, I dont enjoy having to retype descriptions everytime.

Does anyone know of an alias that I can set, so I dont have to? Or some alternative method?

And can they explain it to me, in detail, for dummies? (like me)

Would REALLY appreciate it.

Thanks

Be forewarned, it took me several hours to get it right.
Justice is not neccesarily honourable, it is a tolerable business, in essence you tolerate honour until it impedes justice, then you do what is right.

I use Zmud, so I have the option of a macro.

I have my key pad set to different things...

i tend to have a limit.. 5. Or start using F-keys. You can type a full description in to your Zmud macro

like F8= yell Because I was afraid to speak; yell When I was just a lad; yell My father gave me nose a tweak; yell And told me I was bad; yell But then one day I learned a word; yell That saved me aching nose; yell The biggest word I ever heard; yell And this is how it goes:; yell Oh, supercalifragilisticexpialidocious!

remember to put in semi-colins between posted lines.

So, Cret, I always wondered how people were able to type things out so fast and you just sovled the mystery! But how do you set your keys to things?

I know Zmud.

THere is either a button that says 'macro' or 'key'

you set the key and under the command line.. put in what you want.

So for a desc I could just do

So and so it blah blah; blah blah blah blah blah; blah blah blah

and it would come out

So and so is blah blah
blah blah blah blah blah
blah blah blah?

Yes, that's correct Orplar. Try it out. The semi-colons are like hitting enter for the next line.
