Hear ye, hear ye, Lerytha Holt has announced her candidacy, and wants to meet anyone who was born in Waterdeep. Please, send her a letter and ask her to meet you. She will bring tea, biscuits, cake, food, ale, whatever you like, and spend as long as you want talking through the issues that concern you. Not others, just you.
It is vital the candidates who may be elected to the Counc, meet the citizens of Waterdeep. Otherwise, how can those candidates know what the citizens really want?
(OOC: please either send me an IC letter, PM, or email, and I'll try and arrange a time to speak with you IC. Hope to be inundated with replies! )
Signed with a flowing, beautiful script,
Lerytha Holt

Re: Lerytha's Meeting and Greeting
Rangers, those of Ardeep and those from beyond, those who hail from near
this City of Waterdeep, and those from further afield. I am going to be
within Ardeep, to hopefully meet rangers who seek to learn more about the
candidates that are standing in Waterdeep's elections.
Those of you who are citizens - that is, those who are born in the city -
still have a right to vote in these elections. Please do not forget that,
and please, if you have a chance, come and find me in Ardeep when I travel
there in a couple of weeks.
Even if you are not from Waterdeep - or if you are, and you do not wish
to vote - at least feel free to speak with me, and ask questions that may
concern you about the city.
You may find me, in a few weeks.
(OOC: http://www.timeanddate.com/worldclock/f ... c=0&p1=298)
I also cordially invite the other candidates to travel with me, so we
may engage in a lively, and useful debate, for and with the rangers.
Anyone else - so long as the rangers would accept you in their midst
- is welcome, as well.
Signed,
Lerytha Holt,
Candidate

Re: Lerytha's Meeting and Greeting
Alright, I wasn't exactly overwhelmed with followers of nature. I did try and put it at a time when it would be early evening for a lot of them.
So I'll try another day. If any follower of nature wants to hear what Lerytha (and, I am sure, the other candidates) has to say, could they reply to this thread with a time they would like a meeting (and maybe a debate!) to be held. I'm not sure whether people get bored by it or something, but some sort of reply would be nice, even just to say, "Hi, I have a ranger character and IC he's not going - but thanks for the effort!".
Anyway, that's just me being tired in the early morning and disappointed with turnout.
Thanks to the three foresty people who did turn up.

Re: Lerytha's Meeting and Greeting
Egads, I know I wanted to partake there but then I happened to already be in bed by the time! Very sorry Lerytha!
Weit in der Champagne im Mittsommergrün,
dort, wo zwischen Grabkreuzen Mohnblumen blühn,
da flüstern die Gräser und wiegen sich leicht
im Wind, der sanft über das Gräberfeld streicht.
