This would lower the delay between each kick, allow more kicks per round.
2 ways I can think of making this feat work:
1) Make the second attack skill applies to kick. (whenever you kick with this feat, you have a chance of kicking again)
2) Just do as the description says, just lower the delay between kicks if you have this feat.

Re: [Feat] Improved Kick
Sounds cool, but I'm not aware of what's in store for melee combatants as fighters are being revisited.
Maybe call it something else so that it affects both punch and kick? One of my chars prefers punching. The other likes kicking. The rest don't like either.

*D'oh* Why give kick a bonus and not punch?Selveem wrote:Sounds cool, but I'm not aware of what's in store for melee combatants as fighters are being revisited.

Well, if this is going to effect both punch and kick, I think it'd be best if we went with way number 1. Both skills will be affected by second attack with this feat, and the feat would be better off if it were renamed something along the lines of...

Re: [Feat] Improved Kick
I don't like to naysay but this why we have the Brawling weapon proficiency.
Punch and kick add a little boost to the melee. Maybe you swing out and punch your opponent with your sword hand before sweeping back across him in a cut or you kick him back in order to afford room for a good thrust. That's how I envision the punch and kick skills as being different from brawling.

Re: [Feat] Improved Kick
Just a minor thought to all this. I like the thought of getting that second kick in, but perhaps to train it a certain level of dexterity would be required? I'm just having a hard time envisioning a dwarf with little to no dexterity ladden down in heavy armor pulling off a second kick (much less the first one... stubby little buggers).
