Single-edged blades and thieves

Post by Vibius » Thu Dec 18, 2008 6:44 am

None of the weapons listed under this category appear in the list of rogue's weapon proficiences in PnP is for that I think that this weapon skill should be removed from this guild.

While I think that there isn't anything wrong if a thief wants to use a weapon out of his proficiences, if they really want to do it they should train the feat with the associated weapon proficiency.

It's been a little while since I was able to log Quey in and check, but aren't there some weapons that are both thrusting and single-edged?

It's not much a matter of the type of weapon but rather of the weapon itself, none of the weapons under such proficiency are weapons with which rogues have proficiences,
Weapon and Armor Proficiency
Rogues are proficient with all simple weapons, plus the hand crossbow, rapier, sap, shortbow, and short sword.
