I have heard that Dragon Age is a fantastic game, does anyone know if it requires external graphic-card memory capacity over that what the gc of a laptop can offer?
Weit in der Champagne im Mittsommergrün,
dort, wo zwischen Grabkreuzen Mohnblumen blühn,
da flüstern die Gräser und wiegen sich leicht
im Wind, der sanft über das Gräberfeld streicht.

You have a pair of options.
1)Look at the tables on the right side of this link
2) Use this tool to analyze your laptop and it'll tell your how your hardware stacks up against the required hardware as well as the recommended hardware.

I can't handle Mass Effect - it'll take me 100 hours easy to finish if they don't make it easier for me to deplete every planet of it's resources

Anyone playing L4D2 should really try out Hard Rain on realism mode. That stuff gets downright scary. :shock:
Third, is the day for fighting games, represented by a martial artist with too many blows to the head and kicks to the "jewels".
And he couldn't mistake, with his many bruises and scrapes
The one who beats his opponents into interesting shapes;
It's the spirit of fighting games, and that's the reason he drools,
Too many blows to the head, and kicks to the jewels.
I never really got into fighting games myself. Maybe Castle Crashers is close enough?

GT 5 ain't gonna be out till 4th quarter so says ebgames. I'm resting on DA: O to finish up then it's on to White Knight Chronicles until March 9th. You will all have to excuse me as dovan becomes an after throught to all things Final Fantasy XIII related. :P

I have to agree with you. March 9th will mark the first day of about a week of shutting myself in with the big screen and completely immersing myself in what is always an amazing story and an even better world!

Do not really have many fighting games that I play. I guess I could pull out some old school Tekken and bash some heads :D

I was about to say! Traditionally I can't stand beat-'em-ups, but Soul Caliber 2 rocked my world :P

The fourth day belongs to real-time strategy games (RTSs) represented by a rather large, bearded man with a pocket protector.
Be it a zergling rush, or skilled micro-management,
Through the fog of war, he saw the spirit that could handle it;
Empires had risen and had fallen, under his sole command,
There was just no disguising the real-time strategy fan.
My favorite would most definitely have to be Command & Conquer: Red Alert 2 Yuri's Revenge (that title is absurdly long). There was just about nothing in that game that I didn't like. Starcraft is pretty incredible, too, but I was terrible at it.

Unfortunately, I have none of those games here with me at college, so I'm stuck with playing a demo of something today.

I gave in to the Steam weekend offer last Sunday and bought Company of Heroes and its expansion packs for a mere pittance. I have to say, for an RTS that's a few years old, it's pretty darned good! That said, Age of Empires 2 will always be my favourite <3
