This one is twofold.
First, when any non-wizard class attempts to wear one of the colored amulets given in the School of Wonder quest, the wearer will intermittently attack the amulet after the amulet drains HP. It doesn't happen every time, but does enough for it to be easily replicated.
To do so:
1. Get a colored amulet from the school of wonder quest. (We specifically used a white amulet).
2. Have any non-wizard class wear the amulet. (Our test subject was a priest).
3. Repeat wearing the amulet until the wearer attacks the amulet.
Secondly, during our testing of the above, we had an incident in which the holy symbol I was wearing attacked the priest that was wearing the white amulet, though he was not wearing the amulet at that time. The best theory I could come up with was that I too wore the white amulet after the priest wore it and was attacked by it. Upon receiving the amulet back and putting it away, the priest attacked a unicorn symbol. No one else in the room had one aside from me and I was wearing it. I was NOT able to replicate this despite trying multiple theories as well as repeating all commands in matched conditions (as best we could). I am reasonably convinced that this is related in some way to the above bug as it is a similar problem happening at the same time. I have a complete, unaltered log of this incident from my perspective and a condensed log of this from the perspective of the priest. I won't post them here unless asked to as they are rather lengthy. I'm happy to send the logs to whoever wants/needs them.
I'm happy to provide any other information, but the logs should cover most of it.

Re: Attacking items
This report is extremely old, however, I did check it out. I wasn't able to reproduce the issue after wearing the amulet multiple times on a warrior. Have you, or anyone else experienced this problem recently?
