The fifth day is for racing games, represented by a racer with old fashioned racing helmet and racing goggles holding a detached steering wheel.
There was the spirit of the racing genre, looking ready to start,
With his goggles and racing gloves, and speed in his heart;
In a plane, or a boat, or just a fast automobile,
He's always at home when behind some sort of wheel.
Racing games really aren't my thing, but who could ever forget Mariokart 64 (especially in battle mode)? Oh, and Need For Speed: Most Wanted was loads of fun, especially during the cutscenes because they were just so awful they became funny. :lol:

NFS Shift in my opinon is excellent, but it took me forever because I HAD to get every star, master every corner and some of the challenges are just crazy.

Europa Universalis, when you need to rule the world.
Justice is not neccesarily honourable, it is a tolerable business, in essence you tolerate honour until it impedes justice, then you do what is right.

Spelling is not necessarily correct :)

Mariokart 64 and Episode 1 Podracer were always my speeding weapons of choice. Nothing's come close since!

The sixth day goes to role playing games (RPGs), represented by an elf-like woman holding floating dice above her left hand.
And as everyone does, when the vixen of roleplay he saw,
The arcade gamer had to kneel down, to pick up his jaw;
With her mana and hit points, and ten-sided die,
Many fall under her RPG spell, and never know why.
I've already gotten off to a good start with Borderlands. :D

Was hoping to sneak in some Gran Turismo yesterday, but being as it was family night I failed. C'est la vie.

Today, I oughta get a least a little Dragon Age once the family is asleep.

The seventh and last day is dedicated to sports games, represented by a round, middle-aged man wearing a #10 jersey and holding a beer bottle in each hand.
And last but not least, the patron of sports games
Ailed by an old football injury, or that's what he claims;
Yard by yard and inning by inning, year after year,
They say he loves winning... almost as much as beer.
Yeah, I don't really do sports games. Unless it's Wayne Gretzky 3D Hockey '98. Powerchecks all the way. :-D

I hope everyone had a great Wintereenmas!

I think it is, Lath! Marksmanship!

I just got Mass Effect 2 (hurray for finding money I thought I'd already spent on christmas presents!) and it's pretty outrageously fun.

Before that, however, I was celebrating the holiday season (?!) by playing Demon's Souls and Imperishable Night.

Incidentally, based on the empirical evidence I've gathered from all of this I can now safely conclude that ruthless alien mercenaries (the enemies in ME2) are considerably less dangerous than jolly dancing fairies (the enemies in IN) :P
