Prayers using wrong components
Prayers using wrong components
I've noticed on one of my chars, a cleric of Shar, that when she casts a prayer requiring a holy symbol as a requirement, it gives the echo, "Some mistletoe glows briefly." Not certain if this is a bug, but once I removed the mistletoe from her pouch, it gave the proper echo. The prayers I tested this on were Air Walk, and Cause Light.
Re: Prayers using wrong components
certain components act as substitutions to other components when they are unavailable or difficult for a character class or guild to obtain. Examples include components that only a priest would have being made available for rangers. Since the rangers do not have complete access to the components, a substitute is recognised.
Justice is not neccesarily honourable, it is a tolerable business, in essence you tolerate honour until it impedes justice, then you do what is right.

Gwain is correct. This isn't a bug, but rather just conflicting components. As long as you don't mind seeing mistletoe instead of your symbol, everything else should be working just fine.

I would add that you can place mistletoe or other items which you do not wish to be used in this manner in a non-spell container.
