Re: More helpfile errors
Thanks Grenwyn! Fixed on both counts. Poison resist was opened up to anyone who could find a trainer for it before level 5, so I updated the helpfile to reflect that, and the damage echo topic has been updated. I would ask, however, that you put anything that's not clearly just a helpfile typo/error into Bug Reporting. Had the poison resist feat been a code issue, that would have made it much easier to ensure it got into the tracking system and was seen to. The same applies for any helpfile change, really, even though that may seem odd for a forum called "Bug Reporting." In the bug reporting forum we have a way to track each report and make sure that it doesn't fall between the cracks.
Re: More helpfile errors
Need a help file for 'trade focus' - it allows you to 'focus' on a particular trade in the same manner as 'weapon focus' or 'spell school focus'.

From Help Pantheon:

The mistical place where the gods reside and commune with each other. It
is said within its walls the gods gossip, and argue and even bathe in the great
baths.
'Mistical' should be 'mystical'

Not a helpfile error, but...
If I type 'config', I gel a list that includes this:
[+SWIM ] You will swim if given the oppurtunity.

The Waterdeep City Watch
========================
The Waterdeep City Watch is made up of concerned, law abiding citizens of
Waterdeep. The Watch is led by Commander Marcus, Battleguard of Tempus,
though the present acting commander is Raona Corbin, a paladin of Tyr. The
Watch is said to be recruiting, offering a regular wage and the chance for
advancements within its ranks. Law-abiding citizens of Waterdeep interested
in joining the Watch should seek out prove themselves unto a current member,
who can sponsor them to attend the City Watch Training Academy. Successful
completion of the Academy courses is followed by on-the-job training, and
upon demonstration of the patience, communication skills, and knowledge
needed to serve as a Watchman, a commission in the Watch.
* You MAY NOT have an alt (another character you play) that is a member of
the Zhentarim, the Shadow Thieves, or the Knight Masks if you have a
character in the Watch. This includes any form of spying or interaction with
these organisations.
Area created by Marcus and Lorelie.
* OOC: Prospective Watchmen must be lawful good, lawful neutral, or netural
good. This is a necessary, but not a sufficient condition. For example, if
you have a NG character, they must be of a generally law-abiding nature.
Netural should be neutral.

Re: More helpfile errors
Thanks to both of you for the typo reports! The CONFIG fix will take a bit longer, but is in the system.
Re: More helpfile errors
Another typo, I thought it might be better here than clogging up the bug forum...

Re: More helpfile errors
From the Faith helpfile:
* Questcomplete, demote, and advance operate only on a PC standing before
you, and are only available to the upper echelons of the church.
However, the 'questcomplete' command is done by the quested player, and is not available only to the upper echelons.

Re: More helpfile errors
From the helpfile on Druids
However, the helpfile on Chauntea indicates her druids can be any non-evil alignment. The alignment options of a druid vary with their religion, but always include true neutral. Malarites may instead choose to be neutral evil, and followers of Chauntea and Mielikki have neutral good open to them as an option.

Re: More helpfile errors
From the Helpfile on Teach:
Maybe this help file could include numbers now?
* Your intelligence must be at least two ranks into smart, your wisdom at least clever, and at possess at least average charisma in order to teach anybody anything. The teaching feats require higher scores in these attributes.
Maybe this help file could include numbers now?
Re: More helpfile errors
I think it's been discussed. I think it was Brar (forgive if I'm wrong) who was going to update it, but was waiting on exact numbers.
