Polymorph MV and HP
Polymorph MV and HP
We know that when one polymorphs, their physical stats, including CON changes to that of the form they now possess. My question, therefore, is how are HP and MV determined? Or are they set as well based on whatever form you take?

Re: Polymorph MV and HP
As currently coded, polymorph does not change either your move or hitpoints, as best I can tell.
It does grant you the attacks and some stats of the target race, languages, and (I think) resistances and the like.

As of now, in FK Constitution is not retroactive, that is what makes your hp/mv unmodified after polymorphing, does not gives you more hp after a trollish vigor, ect

Correct, hp and mv are unaffected. However, stats do impact things like hp/mv regeneration. Without looking, I think resistances are changed. I want to say my troll form suffered more from acid arrow, but cannot recall off-hand.

You do not need to change the world, merely leave it a little better than how you found it.

Put simply a transmuter benefits greatly from high con score. ThanksNysan wrote:Correct, hp and mv are unaffected. However, stats do impact things like hp/mv regeneration. As a general rule, a Transmuter SHOULD have a high Con score.
A transmuter is the most physical of all casting classes of Wizard. They're the ones people should dread seeing out on the front lines with the soldiers wreaking havoc in their spelled-up, polymorphed bodies.
They're very, very nasty wizards.

I look at it from my little old mage's point of view... but yes, polymorph has many uses and many forms.Theleus wrote:Put simply a transmuter benefits greatly from high con score.
