when the portal of the gate spell disappears, you got 3 times in raw saying the portal disappears (I don't remember the exact message but it appears 3 times, once with the misty portal wrote with the color codes, and twice without the color codes)

I'm guessing that the double echo is the two gates made one room and the other winking out working like movement echoes.
Justice is not neccesarily honourable, it is a tolerable business, in essence you tolerate honour until it impedes justice, then you do what is right.
