To all our veterans and active duty military members: THANK YOU! I realize today is a U.S. holiday, but regardless, anyone who gives their time and service to the betterment of their country is damn worthy of thanks and respect. Keep rockin!

OOH RAH!

P.S. Happy late Birthday Marines!

The holiday does apply to many other nations too. It was chosen as a holiday because the armistice with Germany was signed at eleven o'clock on the eleventh day of the eleventh month in 1918 to end the Great War (World War I). Armistice Day and Rememberance Day are some of the European versions (although they are a little more like the American Memorial Day). Still, a good day to remember those who gave and those who give.

So, to any who serve: Thanks for your service!
