Need to vent

Life is cruel and I need to vent, so bare with me.

I subscribe to several magazines about 3D art and CGI type stuff. Saddly, most of the good ones are not from USA, but other countries like the UK. One of my magazines, ImagineFX, has a scratch card promotion insert in its latest issue. I like scratchers, so I give it a scratch. I won an Iphone 4 and a cash prize... but not really. It is a UK based magazine, so only UK residents can win, and Iowa is nowhere near the UK.

Sadly, a lot of those scratch cards in the UK are just cons. You think you've won something amazing, then you realise that in order to "claim" your prize, you have to call some ridiculously expensive number which will keep you hanging on for so long that you'll end up spending more on the phone call than the prize is worth. Meanies.

I will be in the UK in two week for a trade show in Coventry, I can take it and makes the phone calls from the hotel so it's the company paying

Coventry! You lucky lucky thing. I lived there for a couple of years, it's ugly but I have a soft spot for the place.
