Staff Sling Bullets
Staff Sling Bullets
Where is the best place for these to be sold? The most logical place. I am taking suggestions.

Re: Staff Sling Bullets
Halflings in Faerun (in an effort to be more like Tolkien's hobbots/halflings/holbytlan, I guess?) are well-known for using slings (and they apparently normally get a bonus to their use, though this isn't reflected in the MUD, to my knowledge), so I'd recommend selling slings, sling stones, and sling accessories (aka sling-bling) in Hillvale, or any other convenient halfling settlement.

Anywhere where the very scarce users can buy them... (put them in an evil area and I come get you in your sleep!!!! )

1. Halfling (maybe gnome) shops/areas. Doesn't have to be a Halfling town, a halfling shopkeeper in Waterdeep or Westgate makes just as much sense.
2. Any temple that allows halflings (Tymora for example). A public vendor though, no need to restrict access to such an item.
3. Any Fighter's guild.

Good idea, Nysan. I will maybe put them in the ZK Fighter's Guild in order to be convenient for Brar.
p.s. Brar: I am probably the last person on FK you want to come after in the dark.

Make Brar happy and keep them out of a evil area. Put them in Mithril Hall's fighter's guild.Harroghty wrote:Good idea, Nysan. I will maybe put them in the ZK Fighter's Guild in order to be convenient for Brar.

Re: Staff Sling Bullets
There is a little village filled with halflings I believe north of Berdusk. I think it's called Triel? Adding a high-volume item there could "put it on the map" as it were.

Re: Staff Sling Bullets
Eventual to-do: add staff sling bullets to the list of constructable weapons.
Re: Staff Sling Bullets
There is the halfling town as well...you could have different types of staff sling bullets. Question though, can't you crush stones into pieces and use those as bullets?

Re: Staff Sling Bullets
Per the slings helpfile, you can SMASH smooth stones into pebbles if you are holding the stone and an appropriate tool. However, the pebbles produced are only usable in slings, staff slings have distinct ammunition and at this point in time it can only be bought.
