Righteous Fury and Divine Power
Righteous Fury and Divine Power
When I cast Righteous Fury then Divine Power the Divine Power overwrites the Righteous Fury, removing it. Looking at the help this isn't mentioned that they are different version of the same prayer. Should the help be updated or the power changed?

Looks like the helpfiles need an update, because the spells are each specifically coded to strip the other before going into effect, that is, they are designed not to stack.
But do you have both of these on the same PC? Aren't they both personal range spells?!?

Priests of Tyr get both prayers.
Re: Righteous Fury and Divine Power
Priests of Torm also get both spells as domain spells.

Aha! That makes sense. Okie dokie, I've updated the helpfiles to make it clear that these spells do not stack. Thanks for pointing it out!
I did the same thing for Magic Circle and Protection, having learned the same applies to them.

Re: Righteous Fury and Divine Power
Follow-up, to check: Does Divine Power actually boost base attack bonus (BAB)???
Re: Righteous Fury and Divine Power
When I cast Divine Power it raises my Strength, Damage Bonus, and Hit Bonus.
The bonus to damage reflects the increased Strength but the Hit Bonus is slightly higher, showing a bonus from your strength and an additional bonus.
The AB: 1st:x 2nd: x 3rd:x line does not change at all if that is what you mean by BAB.

Re: Righteous Fury and Divine Power
Yes, but it looks as though we employ an intentional variation on canon...and we made up Righteous Fury ourselves, at least it isn't in d20...so I've updated the helpfiles for these two spells to make it clearer what they actually do, and we should be all set!Adabelle wrote:The AB: 1st:x 2nd: x 3rd:x line does not change at all if that is what you mean by BAB.
