Hi,
I cast Identify on a ring and received this result:
This is a ruby-encrusted black iron ring. It is a medium
treasure.
Its weight is about 0 lbs, value is 2 platinum, 1 gold, 1 silver.
It is of average quality and in perfect condition. It is made of iron.
Enchanted to provide '+1048576' to affecttwo.
I am guessing this is buggy. The ring in question is in zorinar's inventory.

Re: Identify spell giving an odd result
This was a loot table ring, and likely generated before this problem was fixed. I just made and identified a bucket 'o rings, and didn't see anything like this. Then again, it may be a rare affect still in circulation. If anyone sees this on a ring they know they got recently (say, the last month prior to this posting), please say so here. Thanks!

What about magic rings that were already generated that seem to do nothing?

Sorry, that's not something I think we are likely to go back and try to patch up. That is, we have (I think) fixed this so that rings generated going forward don't have these mixed up affects, but if you possess one that does, that's what you have.Selveem wrote:What about magic rings that were already generated that seem to do nothing?

They'd still be bugged, though. They're flagged as magic with no affects.
