I'm half thinking I might have run into a haggle bug here just in the last few minutes. I wouldn't have thought two more minutes on it, had it not occurred with an uniquely named item. That said, I haggled down said unique item then the merchant moved to another square (all events happening outside the Sated Satyr in WD). I followed the merchant to the western room and checked his inventory as I was looking for a few components while I was about. Ended up seeing the exact same item moved from the third spot in his inventory to the first spot, the exact same item I had just bought. I'll let the log speak for itself the rest of the way...

No. This is not a bug. It is well explained in this thread that Yvonne found:

Re: Possible Haggle Bug
I think there is a misunderstanding. Dovan was reporting that he bought a unique item. But the merchant had another instance of the item, presumably because of the haggling.
Re: Possible Haggle Bug
It looks like to me that the merchant possibly had two of the same random magic items from the way it worked. Now whether that is actually possible with the random magic item code I am not sure, if the random magic item loot tables can produce doubles it would be normal for it to move in the list when purchased.

Re: Possible Haggle Bug
I was not able to replicate this (with the same merchant actually), but the merchant does have a double of the item in its possession. Which of your characters tried this trade?
