Midnight Masquerade - Debut of a Paladin

Post by Mele » Sat Jan 07, 2012 9:45 pm

All allies are welcome to the debut of one Sir Liric Alycari! Members of Midnight will be holding a masquerade ball in the ballrooms of Berdusk. All adventurers attending MUST retire their armor, and wear formal attire and a mask! Those who do not comply will be escorted from the area!

Please come see the debut of a new Paladin of Mystery at this time and date!

OOC: Start looking out on merchants for some special masks from now until the ball! :) Please choose GOOD ALIGNED(or well behaved neutral) alts for this, as it's celebrating the making of a PALADIN, you know, those silly crusaders against evil. ;) We will be opening the ballrooms in Berdusk for this, it is intended to be a mudwide event! Please PM me if you're interested in bringing a bard, and performing.

Check for a hat shop in Waterdeep, stocked especially for this. :)

Try not to greedalox the masks on alts not attending, please!

Also, you may find a gown or suit lurking around in shops all over the realms if you are lucky!

I'll be an hour fashionably late.

It's only a party if he's wearing the mask! It's in the rules!

Given the time, at least one of my chars should be able to make it. :)

Rod will be there with bells on. Literally. He has heard that bells are 'in' this year at masquerade balls. Bells...balls...Battlestar Galactica.

Just a bump reminder - Don't forget to get your mask and formal wear. You will not be allowed in without them!

Masks can be found at Rebeleigh's and there's even some special unique gowns suits and masks lurking around places that would sell any of those pieces!

Poking around for the gowns. Hoping I can find one in the next couple days!

Hey Mele, Thank you for doing all of this. It is very appreciated, and will be a lot of fun :)

If you are wearing an non-removable object over your face, can you still get in? Without a mask?

Check your inventory.

I have finally decided to return. Vantaniel kept poking me OOC and so I'm back, hopefully will be able to catch up with old friends.

Depending on timing of certain things I am hoping I can attend. I can either do so with Shava, the Oracle, or perhaps if there is need of entertainment, Vezre, the bard. I have picked up some new songs that should be appropriate, especially for an event like this.

I'm glad to be back and can't wait to dive back in.
