Just something I thought I should mention, because this may have been overlooked, but there are multiple items that will "give" you hide/sneak, and I always thought it was only because the item code to improve skills worked that way.
For example, if I could find a bracelet that "improved" fourth attack on my rogue, it would give him fourth attack.
