What would I ask them "Hey do you guys happen to block port 80 on a game called Forgotten kingdoms?" i don't think that would work. haha

Port 80 is port 80. It's not specific to FK.

You could always just ask a general question if they block any ports with their service, or if they know of any reason why you might not be able to connect to something using their service.

All i got from Verizion is that they blocked ports 23 and 80 to PROTECT me, they wouldn't tell me from what. so what can I do to play the game on my card?

Protect you from FK stealing your social life.

If they don't block port 4000, you could use that...but FANG would need to be modified to extend that as an option.

Download zmud and use a different port.

They probably blocked port 80 to force you to use a proxy - I'll modify FANG to allow the port to be specified, but change the default port to 443 which shouldn't be blocked as it can't be proxied.

Default port switched to 443 - try again to connect using FANG?
