I'm going to assume this is completely opinion and not in any way fact-based.

Regardless of whether or not a race is 'known' for something does not apply to adventurers and many of the more flavorful NPCs they encounter.

I'm not sure what your statement regarding pads has to do with anything. Are you asserting that it is impossible to protect the arms/hands/feet without completely covering them? I sincerely hope not.

At any rate, I do feel you should be entitled to voice your opinion, even if I feel it has no merit.
