>_> Ahahaha, kidding! Yes, yes. Joking. <_<

Ahem.

I live in Satan's armpit, AKA the illustrious Las Vegas, NV. I type all day for work and come home and RP. Other hobbies include: concert going, anime/comic convention going, binge watching TV shows or movies, I can get engrossed in jigsaw puzzles, coloring/painting/crafting of some sort, and reading/listening to books, I will sometimes get the "play console games" itch for Fallout or Dragon Age. Mostly staying inside because it's too friggen hot to do anything else. Except this time of year, it's easy to get wrapped up in outside events cause the weather is far more tolerable. I've been playing for 5 years now and the community here is like a small family that you generally know little about yet feel like you know so well.

The wenches would never forgive me.
Just google him and you'll find him performing Henry V, probably my favorite. But he also likes to drag up a woman from the audience and swoon her with sonnets, so...

Hi! I'm Katie, and I'm from New Brunswick, Canada. My then-boyfriend-now-husband Brad (AKA Bugoron) introduced me to FK back in 2003.

Vincent here. Living in Alberta now, but grew up in the same town as Tandria. I found FK after reaching Edmonton though, Tandria held out on me, didn't tell me about it in the times we'd met. Btw Tan, if you don't remember me "We love you goons!" might jog the memory. Still the most memorable cosplay bit for me. :)

Oh Vincent, I could never forget you, bud ;)

We met at a convention long ago and he came to FK of his own volition, which was a super cool and very weird coincidence. (I actually almost mentioned you in my post here, but for the life of me I couldn't remember your handle on FK >_>)

It's great to hear from all of you. I love Rennfairs, and have been practicing with a long bow for next summer's SCA Faire, where they have an open archery contest. Along with axe throwing, it's my favorite event. At our Yule celebration we had drumming and then a storyteller who had a drummer with him. Something about drums and roaring fireplaces on a cold night takes me back farther than I've been alive.

To my point, I've noticed some folks have listed hobbies, I have a couple myself. Reading Golden Age Pulp Fiction, and cooking. Anybody else celebrate the holidays in a non-traditional manner, or have a hobby they'd like to share? And for you Canadian folks, I have a nephew and his children who all live in Canada. Nova Scotia and Ontario mostly.

Hey, I'm Aysa...

Ok, that's not my real name. Unfortunately, due to past experiences on several different WoD mushes... that's all you're going to get. However, with that being said, I've been playing for a long time (though obviously not as long as other people). Aysa was my first character, a student to Elenthis. Other prominent characters that I've played: Talaedra the elven Ranger. Nixa the Sunite convert. And of course now, Galeena the Woman of Wonder!

But in real life, I play as a VP of IT for an organization just out of Houston. Due to cancer, and the mental anxiety that comes with the whole ordeal, my husband actually lives in Kentucky (in a hunting cabin, away from city life). I have three kiddos... the youngest is 24, and trying to 'make it' in NYC. My oldest is going back to school to get his PhD -- so that he can help improve the concept of self-driving cars.

I may have been a Midwestern girl, but I'm a Southern girl at heart - especially since I view football as more important than just about anything else. Dressing up for tailgating? Definitely. Boots go with everything. And yes, I'm talking about Cowgirl boots.

Anyway, that's a peek into the person behind the character(s).

Yeah, but those world of darkness people are all freaks.

Don't look at me like that. I have no idea how to use potence with my blood pool to flip cars.

Honestly, I've never tried to obfescate my aura, I'm completely human! Err..., elf.

I live in the Uk, an hour outside of london and am a beginner unpublished author dredging up the last bits of his motivation to write a 200k high fantasy novel, and an 80k LIT RPG novel.

I'm completely blind and play this game kind of like how i play life. With mild sarcasm and pessamistic amusement.

Let's see. What else...

I play a lot of TCGs like magic the gathering, cardfight vanguard, Buddyfight and cancer..., I mean yugioh/ duel masters. And of course I do a lot of table top. DND, Lord of the 5 rings, but definitely not world of darkness.

I have a moderate passion for anime. i got bored of Tv long ago with the exception of a few documentary series, marvel and a few odd bits here and ther like black mirror.

And thats about it for me I think. Its been a pleasure to play this game with you lot for these years. and hope to play it for a few more at the very least.
I trained up double-edged bananas because the uber-plantain of doom I scored from the beehive quest was the best weapon in the game. Now it's being treated like a bug and they have gimped its damage! That's not fair! My character is ruined!

Shew! Been a while since I checked this. Having a ball playing, gonna hate going back to work, if I can. Nice to know I play with some quality folks with a firm grip on reality. My biggest disappointment in life is to meet someone at a gaming session, and a few days later they greet me by my character name and cannot talk of anything else but what "WE" did to those ogres. bleh. Hmm, I smell another post topic!

Fun!

My name is Ben, I'm 27 and live in Phoenix, Arizona.

There was a large group that started playing under former Lathander's MUD club at a local middle school. They had a member that bled into Prescott, Arizona, and got me and like 6 other people playing. Theres only a couple of us that still play - and I take regular breaks for various reasons. We all started back in 2003/2004ish.

Now I work for a craft brewery! If you live in Phoenix or AZ somewhere, hit me up for a really good beer!
Technically, we're all half centaur.

Hi!
I think I'm most commonly known as Siria though my actual name is Natalie (or Nat if you want to shorten it).
I now live in the Washington D.C. area, but just a few months ago I was one of the few European players (Germany). I moved to marry my now husband, who I have met on FK over 10 years ago (been playing for about 12 years total).
What else to say? I am a fiber addict. I spin, knit, crochet, weave...everything with fiber. I'm also pretty obsessed with dogs and whether or not their fur might be spinnable.

Hey guys. My name is Riaan and I now live in Colorado, USA. I started playing FK around 2002 or 2003 in California, USA when I was about 14 years old? Although the last few years I've admittedly stepped away, FK has always held a place in my heart as, " The best game ever. " It's a struggle explaining what FK is to people that have never played Muds or Mushes. Maybe sometime here soon I'll step back in. I just wanted to say "HI!!!! " to everyone and that I'm eternally grateful to have had the opportunity to have played with you all during those years; it really means a lot to me. I can't tell you how many times I've stepped back to reflect just how much I love FK and the playerbase. In fact, my first ( and only to date, many planned ) is a tattoo of Mask on my shoulder. <3 <3 I'll end up making a post here soon showcasing it. <3

Hello fellow roleplayers. My name is Justin and I live in Columbus, OH. The land where the weather can never make up it's mind. I started playing FK back in high school and despite my many breaks I've never been able to give up my second life in Faerun. I don't really have a career and have spotty work history at best, and though it shames me to admit this I respect the people of the MUD a bit too much to lie about myself. I've worked door to door sales, retail, warehouse, and most recently factory positions and through it all I've never once stopped regretting my choice to skip out on college. Forgotten Kingdoms has always been there as a way for me to escape real life for a while, a place I could step in to when things get to be too much or I don't have anything else to do. Even though I've never been able to grasp the concept of coding (It's all just numbers and symbols to me, seriously what are you guys doing reading hieroglyphs in your spare time?) the roleplay offered here and the community that makes it all come alive has been something I can always enjoy and feel a part of. Aside from playing games and surfing the internet like a brain-dead screen zombie I enjoy taking walks in the park and "unplugging" for a while, spending time with my family and giving them advice where I can (Though I feel more out of touch these days), and taking care of all the little projects that never seem to stop popping up around the house. So to sum it all up I'm "that guy," the classic do nothing internet nerd.
