It would be great if doing whatever does fit your character's roleplay were never a relative liability - if being witty and insightful were equally useful, in the big scheme of things, as being strong and nimble! That's a hard balance to strike, but I certainly support trying to do so, especially if (since!) it can be done in a way that's perfectly reasonable IC: like mobs prefering to ask help of the well-spoken, or those with an air of sagacity, for aid.
