Thanks to Danten and Zarafae for setting up this event. We need more player-spawned events like those (though a bit more forewarning might be better for future events).
I would like to raise the following point though (which might not please everybody). If you attended the event, did it really make sense for your character to be there? Now, I can understand that it's fun to go watch people fight each other, especially if some parts of the fights are accompanied by smotes (very interesting rule/idea, btw!) ... but would your character do that? Does it fit your character's background/character/faith/ethos to go there and watch people fight each other (and to heal them afterwards)? This question has been recently raised in other forum, so I post it here as well. If you want to answer or discuss it, please start a thread in General Discussion (don't answer here).
Note that I'm not telling you that you should avoid such events, but rather that you should make sure to bring characters that would ICly go there. You might even want to make a brand you character for such events.
