My time online is limited till Wednesday (tomorrow), so if you're waiting for all the candidates to be online, don't wait for me. Sorry I haven't been online much these past few days, but I'll be back in uni very soon, where I don't have to share the comp! Yay!

The votes for the Elected Lords of Waterdeep have been finally counted and verified. There were some small margins between some of the competitors, with a count of two or three votes sometimes making the difference between becoming an Elected Lord or not. Lord Piergieron, as well as all the city officials, would like to thank all those who devoted time in this election, either as competitors, as sponsors, as supporters, as journalists, or as voters.

The first three Elected Lords of Waterdeep are Isaldur Redleaf, Lerytha, and Takket Keppur. The Lords sent as a Representatives of the Watch are Lady-Civilar and Acting Commander Raona Corbin, and Lady-Corporal Saranya. They will be officially instated during a ceremony to take place in Waterdeep at a future date.

(If you have special ideas for this ceremony or feel like having your character set it up ICly, feel free to send your ideas to the builders address - hopefully, this ceremony can take place before the end of this month - maybe Saturday 14th if all the Lords are available ?)

I should be available Saturday 14th, most any times. As long as we sort of get it arranged soon, so I know when to sleep, and when not to. Basically, I don't mind staying awake till 6am my time if it's the only way to get everyone there. Woo, should be very exciting times!

I'll have a better picture of if I can make it on the 14th by about mid-week.

14th looks good any time and I'll endeavor to keep it clear. I am certain the Morning Temple should be happy to volunteer refreshments and blessings as desired.

Might be good to use the Temple of Waterdeep, so that all the gods of Waterdeep bless the new Council? Might think of a few ideas and send them to builders... hmm...

No, it should be held at the Temple of Lathander. The first order of business should be to establish that church as the official church of Waterdeep and require all others to move outside the walls. Oh, they should be further restricted in the size of their buildings!

At the moment, I believe I'm free for the 14th, but things are a little shaky schedule-wise with me, so I'll have to take a look at things and post again to confirm.

I hate to be the wet blanket, but I'm leery of even asking my significant other about the 14th, especially since I've already asked her to take care little Kai on the 15th during the Tyrran gathering. I'm not romantic and think Valentine's day to be a stupid commercial holiday...but my view is not universally shared, in particular by my beloved! All the more reason, I'm afraid, for me not to stack the deck against myself. I expect this would not be a very short RP...

If a time later in the day is confirmed to work for everyone else, I will ask...but I can't promise anything, except a scowl as the initial reaction from the decider.

That will give us all 1 additional week to come up with something for this celebration.

I was thinking about opening up the old Waterdeep Fair (the area with small booths where you can play Tag the dragon, Treasure Hunt, and so on), but I'm not entirely sure that the code for this area still works fully and I don't think I will have time to re-test it before the ceremony. So ... I'm still looking for fun and simple ideas. Perhaps some sort of treasure hunt in Waterdeep (or some other kind of "Get to know Waterdeep" event), I don't know. I'll think more about it.

Transfer all the new lords to the end of Blue Alley and let everyone take bets on who makes it out alive.

14th will work for me if it's done early in the day. The 21st might work (it's less likely than the 14th), but again, it would have to be earlier in the day. Quite honestly, weekday evenings are best for me. I know that doesn't work for most people, but I'll throw it out there for consideration.

I thought we were the Church of the Realms. You mean there are others?

I <3 the Fairgrounds and volunteer to test if needed. Or how about right in the Market? Followed with a reception at the Lucky? Hmm, I'll send some thought in. (Isaldur's idea isn't bad either, and my money's on the Watch appointees. )

I can make any time on the 21st work, as well as any weekdays March 2-6 and 16-20.

Given enough time, I would love to set up a treasure hunt in Waterdeep, one designed such that even new players have a fair shot at it; or a riddle with the same basic idea.

Are the riddles already written, or should I get cracking on it? (I've come up with four so far, if they would be of use!)
