Great Weave is named for the tapestry-weaving practiced in all wealthy households throughout the winter. Cloth merchants also dedicate this month to the making of textiles.
To celebrate the occassion there will be a feast and the judging of tapestries produced during the cold months.
All are welcome to bring textiles and clothing for trade or sale, if they so wish.

+ There will be a prize for the best tapestry, as picked by yours truly
+ Everyone is welcome to enter the contest. I'm shamelessly stealing Enig's excellent snowman building idea, so 'tapestries' are to be produced on parchment and we'll sort of pretend they're cloth... I'm giving you plenty of advance warning, so go mad!
+ If you want to enter the contest but won't be at the festival, feel free to submit them to Kesiel in person or by post
+ Feel free to bring along your old clothing items, particularly if they're unusual etc. Only cloth will be accepted, no leather, no chain, no plate!
