When hiding and another affect comes after it like with sagacity above, without sneaking and moving between rooms (walking or flying,) one is still hiding.

I was unable to reproduce this by casting spells with affects, but was able to keep the SNE effect in place by setting a speed other than sneak with the SPEED command. Is it possible this is what happened in your case, as well? Probably not, as HID didn't exhibit the same behavior for me. Might you have been following someone at the time?

I was not following anyone at the time. I still have this happen whenever hiding and casting mix.

I know it used to get rid of my hide and sneak when I would cast a prayer with Telnier, even if he was not in the same room with people. If you are casting after hiding that may be the problem. I am not sure though

Aha, I see what you mean now, and can reproduce it. It's an issue when you are the one hiding, and also casting the spell. A bard belting out a song should not be able to remain hidden, aye? Thanks for the report! Entered as bug 927.
