construct armour

Post by Cret » Tue Aug 03, 2010 6:12 am

construct armour waist skin hide

the superior-grade skin of a Palace Guard (perfect)

You must have leather as a raw material to make {30}a {30}hide girtle.

shows the colour code.. not the actual colour

Could you please be more specific about what the bug is here? Is it the color code?

I believe that he is saying that he sees:

{30}a {30}hide girtle

instead of

a hide girtle

Hmmm. Can't reproduce. May already be fixed? I get the brown color I should be getting.

Thanks for the clarification!

Though I must ask. Hide must be tanned now? Before being made? So leather and hide armour, both stem from tanned leather?

That's a valid point, I think. Hide armour should be made from untanned skins, yeah? Anyone know for sure?

Not sure how this process has worked, but it would be sensible that you would want to tan the skin (or boil) the skin prior to making armor out of it. It would not be very good protection otherwise.

command: construct armour body tann

You must have metal as a raw material to make a none cuirass.

This needs to check for an imput of a armourtype. Needs to echo:
'What armor type are you trying to make?
Syntax: construct armour <location> <material> <armortype> [size] [masterwork]
"
