As you're all aware, the glory system is somewhat disabled, and on the whole is somewhat broken. We have recently switched to rewarding glory for people involved in Imm-run plots, and the hope is that this will be the primary source of glory going forwards, rather than alignment-restricted quests.
The question then is what to do with your glory once you have it?
Some obvious things include stuff that we often get applications for, such as:
- Change hometown
- Forget a feat
- Swap stat points around
- Alignment changes
- Object renames
Some additional ideas that have been bandied about include:

- +1 Luck
- Skill progression
- +1 level of experience
- Skill outside of class
- Positive modifier to skill increases
- Required amount needed to "buy" entry to special quests
- Required amount needed to "buy" entry to special areas
- Required amount needed to "buy" attendance to special events
- Special items sold in stores, like Aurora's, require Glory as well as gold
- Access to restricted areas in which to place a dwelling (non-cities)
- Unique items purchaseable only with Glory
- Conversion to coin
- Creation of signature/named items
- Once the signature object is made, they can evolve it, by spending more glory.
There should be a precise list of possible modifications, restricted by item type. For
example, a ring should not grant a to-hit bonus. Modifications could include the
following:- To-Hit bonus
- AC bonus
- Spell-like functions useable x times per day
- Energy damage
- Bonus spell/prayer/song slots
- Special programs including echoes at various time of the day
- Damage bonus
- Stat bonus
- Once the signature object is made, they can evolve it, by spending more glory.
- Gain the abiliy to cast a domain spell (of your faith) as a non-domain spell
- Specific skills/spells can be set aside to be purchased by only with glory
- Prestige classes
- Ability to remake a PC (at L1) but retain equipment
- Ability to remake a PC (at L1) but retain skills
- Ability to remake a PC (at L1) but retain spells
- Specialized physical traits (glowing eyes, wings, etc.)
- Change hometown
- Change object layers
- Personalized programs that allow mobs to recognize you in defined areas
- Auto-assisting mobs come to your aid depending on class and area.
- Pet renames
- Item renames
- Resurrection rather than Reincarnation
- Imm runs a player-designed rp for a specific PC
- Increase in the allowed number of followers
- Required cost for induction into special orders (e.g. Harpers, Paladin Orders, Fellowship of the Undermountain)
