Monsters following with Supplicate recall

I traveled apparently too deep into Ardeep and was attacked by a dire boar and a couple dire wolves, I know because I stunned one wolf but was still being attacked by a wolf. Anyway, I supplicated recall, and somehow that boar followed me and appeared in the ranger camp, outside it's usual habitat. I traveled there by means of supplicate recall so that shouldn't have happened, and yet it did. See below.

A small wooden altar has been built here amongst the trees. The sides
of the altar have been painted with scenes depicting a handsome male
elf playing a lyre, teaching other elves, or fighting a huge orc.
This peaceful shrine is a perfect place to meditate and contemplate
nature. The only sounds you hear are the songs of the birds sitting
in the nearby trees.
The sky is warm and stormy and a cool northern breeze blows.

A small clearing in the forest
E-A shrine to Cor S-A meadow W-A small clearin
You are on a small path crossing the clearing. Large fields of blue
and yellow flowers border the path. Looking more closely at them,
you notice that the blue flowers form a crescent amongst the yellow
ones. It certainly took much time and effort to make those flowers
grow so that they depict the symbol of the elven deity Corellon.
The sky is warm and stormy and a cool northern breeze blows.

You are in the middle of a small clearing in the forest. A well
maintained path leads to a small shrine to the east. The path is
bordered by large fields of yellow and blue flowers. Red-leafed
flowers are painted on the doors of the two huts to the north and
south.
The sky is warm and stormy and a cool northern breeze blows.

The game trail is easier to follow here. Looking to the east, you
see that it leads to a small clearing with two wooden huts and
large fields of colorful flowers. The only sounds you can hear are
the songs of the birds who sing from the highest branches of the
tall trees that surround the trail.
The sky is warm and stormy and a cool northern breeze blows.

Some mobiles will hunt you. Is the idea here that supplicate recall is supposed to be setting mobiles from hunting you? I'll be the first to admit that I am no expert on this.

Yes, Althasizor has the trick here. When you initiate combat with most beasties, they are set to HATE and/or HUNT you if you don't kill them off. If you go elsewhere, they will attempt to find and attack you, but usually when you supplicate you leave the area they are permitted to range in. Not so here!

It does seem a bit cruel that SUPPLICATE RECALL doesn't offer salvation for one of the most common deadly mistakes that young residents of Ardeep are likely to make. We could move the recall location, or make that shrine turn away the tainted forest creatures, or confine the tainted creatures more generally. I'm inclined toward the latter, personally, just because so many young PCs become lunch in that spot.
