when the portal of the gate spell disappears, you got 3 times in raw saying the portal disappears (I don't remember the exact message but it appears 3 times, once with the misty portal wrote with the color codes, and twice without the color codes)

As the caster, nobody gone through portal:
A magical portal winks from existence.
A misty portal winks out of existence.
A magical portal winks from existence.
Is the message you receive. Others see only:
A misty portal winks out of existence.
If somebody goes through the portal, on side B they see:
A magical portal winks from existence.
A magical portal winks from existence.
A misty portal winks out of existence.
While the caster at side A sees only:
A misty portal winks out of existence.
But it doesn't affect anything, either.

I'm guessing that the double echo is the two gates made one room and the other winking out working like movement echoes.
