Hi,
Since the addition of level 0 spells, I am reaching 100% in spell memorization through meditation before actually memorizing all my spells. Some are left in red. I have erased all spells in that spell level and re-added them and memorized them but the same issue still presents itself. I "think" that the level 0 spells are not re-adjusting for a new total 100% which is why I am reaching 100% early. Just a guess on my part but it started since the level 0 spells came into game.

Similarly, is the bug that the percentage is calculated incorrectly, that you can't fill some slots, or that some slots don't regen?

I'm seeing this as well. Class is transmuter, level 50. I can fill all slots but not all slots regen before reaching 100% "mana" leaving me with one spell that never goes green. The spell level in question is 6 and it does not seem to matter what spell is in that slot.

Did you originally memorise all your spells with mnemonic enhancer?

Originally, yes. But I've tried to regen the spell with mnemonic enhancer active as well as removing all level 6 spells and then re-memorizing them all without ME active.

I just thought of one more possibility!

Did you happen to memorise any spells into a lower spell slot, prior to the changes made yesterday (approx. 2pm EST I think)? e.g. Check that you don't have a level 1 spell memorised into a level 0 slot, or level 2 into a level 1.

This was happening to Lirith when it was still possible to put spells into lower level slots, and I saw something similar in that it wouldn't allow regen of spells in higher slots.

I think the best way to be sure and check would be to forget your whole spell list and re-memorise everything into the appropriate slots.

If that doesn't work then I think I'm out of ideas.

I wasn't able to play prior to then. However, I'll empty the list completely and refill it to see where that gets us.

I have checked zorinar. He still has 2 level 0 spells that will not memorize, yet mana says 100% No mnenomic enhancer issues. I forgot all level 0 and re memorized.

Hmm, no INT bonus for level 0 spells? I have great INT, I wonder if this is causing funny business? Perhaps im supposed to get 2 bonus spells (for INT) like I do for level 1 spells?

I run into this all the time. Even before the 0 level spells. It always means my Sagacity expired and I just need to cast it again. Once I cast it again it will regen my prayers normally.

Tavik already tried to fix it with mnemonic enhancer and it doesn't seem to be that. Sagacity doesn't affect slots for wizards.

I think the different levels of spell slots we have changed. I noticed this sort of issue on my wizard too. I forgot everything and memorized all of them of them from scratch and that seemed to fix the issue.

Okay. I finally did a little more work. Mnemonic enhancer does not fix this particular issue, nor does sagacity for wizards (in some cases, sagacity might help priests, paladins and rangers).

By forgetting a single spell from each spell level, I was able to get the non-regenerating spell to jump from level 6 down to level 2.

By forgetting all spells and the re-memorizing everything, my results matched the above in that the issue was resolved. I further went on to try adding in additional spells with mnemonic enhancer and as long as ME was active, this problem stayed resolved.

I think this is just a small, one time bug from the addition of the 0 level slots. Anyone seeing this issue should take a little time and forget all spells and re-memorize them WITHOUT mnemonic enhancer active to start with. If you are still seeing this problem after that, let us know here.

I'm seeing a reproducible problem that works like this:
Memorize all spells
Cast a slot-increasing spell and memorize a spell into the added slot(s)
Memorize said spell(s) before slot bonus wears off (perhaps logging off in between?)
Cast any spell from that level
That spell will not re-memorize, no matter how long you wait...but the extra spell you memorized is still there, and you can cast it. If you do so, then you can memorize the other one.

This is the way things should work, methinks, but it is not displaying correctly at the moment.

Does this square with what others are seeing/experiencing on this front?

That sounds like something I've always seen if I've memorised spells with a slot-increasing spell active. I think it should work like this, but maybe the slots are being a bit squiffy with the order of regaining them. I'm not sure how to fix this though, since if you have the extra spell memorised and available for use, there SHOULD be one that doesn't regen in the other slots of that level unless the inscrease spell is active.

How about this:

If you have a slot-increasing spell wear off, the "extra" spell will revert to forgotten, but if you have any spells of the same or lower level that are not memorized, one will be memorized (starting with the first of the same level, then in the order memorized for that level, then in the order memorized for lower levels)?

I'm inclined to say that I don't really think there's a problem with it the way it is right now. Your suggestion would be fine but is it really a big enough problem to needs fixed?
The problem people were reporting with spells not regaining was due to the introduction of level 0 spells and seems to have been resolved (unless people are still having problems and just not posting).

I can still reproduce this problem, at least the version of it I describe above in which a spell is not prepared no matter how long you wait.
