Calling upon all players to check what
FEATS have no trainers.
Feel free to post below to indicate the following information:
- class/race/alignment
- skills for which you did not find teachers
Notes:
- This is only about FEATS, not about spells or skills or whatever. There will be other thread for other categories of "things you can learn".
- The class/race/alignment information is interesting because a skill might have a trainer that drow can reach but no trainer for surface dweller (or vice versa, most likely).

I will post another with all the weapon focus, greater weapon focus, weapon specialization, and greater weapon specializations I have not been able to find.
Haven't found any trainers that train on any fighters of mine:
Greater Two Weapon Fighting
Heavy Armor Optimisation
Greater Heavy Armor Optimisation
Improved Two-Weapon Fighting
Greater Two-Weapon Fighting
Shield Ward

For Drow warriors i can not find any of the following, and i really think they should be available, the basic ones in Menzo itself and the advanced ones in one of the warrior guilds in Ched Nasad (Seventh Sceptre, i think)
Two Weapon Fighting
Two Weapon Defense (used to be a trainer but not there anymore)
Greater Two Weapon Fighting
Improved Two-Weapon Fighting
Can not find any of the below, either.
Heavy Armor Optimisation
Greater Heavy Armor Optimisation
shield specialisation
Shield Ward
There maybe others, like some of the missile weapon feats, but i have not really looked for those yet.

Oh, I just checked feats list. Greater Heavy Optimisation seems to have been removed from the game.. But still haven't found any trainers for regular Heavy Armor Optimisation.

Alright, I went through my rather exhaustive logs; there are only three
Weapon Specialization trainers in the game I've found. Of those three, one only trains if you meet certain stat requirements that are not required by the feat (without giving too much away) and one is in a relatively evil location.
Weapon Spec Feats not found at all wrote:bows

There is a trainer for greater weapon focus bows in game, but it is in an area that is restricted based on racial requirements.

Adding on to this a bit late.. Two-weapon feats are all still missing from those of us down in the Underdark. There's a perfect place for them to go into, too -coughs-

I hear those are now in the game, but not available for non-Drow. Is this the case? If so are we going to have them available in a neutral area some time soon?
Can I get an update, too, on the ones that've been listed that are no longer outstanding so the thread can be updated?

It is really a pretty onerous process to go through and search for these because it involves searching for the weapon type, then searching for the feat, and then matching the two lists (which can be very long). Sufficed to say, the majority of these are available in game now (yes, even in so-called neutral areas) with a couple of the two-weapon feats needing a little more availability on the surface.

Thanks Harroghty. I wasn't trying to have the staff do extra work because I know it's a real pain to ask a single person to do it. The intent was for the players to contribute so the staff didn't have to work as hard.
I'm glad to hear these are mostly put in the game. I've a few characters needing a few of each, but I am most eager to fiddle around with the two-weapon feats most of all.
Thanks again for the response and keep up all the good work.

Althasizor did a pretty thorough check up on the test port for available trainers and I found that there are only three weapon types with sufficient coverage (surface and Underdark, all races) out of 23 possible weapon types when I followed up. I am going through and adding coverage for these, but it's not as bad as it sounds because included in the number that I deem without sufficient coverage there are weapon types which are trained in places like on the streets of Waterdeep (i.e. somewhere very accessible for the majority of PCs).

That's a pretty sizable project for both of you. I can't imagine how frustrating it might have been to sift through all that and make useful information out of it. I know the implementation will also be quite a project, too, so thank you all very much!
Just out of curiosity, will that only include weapon focus and specialization or will it also include greater weapon specialization? Any chance I can coerce you guys into including shield ward and the two-weapon feats made available, too?

The Weapon Focus and Weapon Specialization feats are covered adequately in the game. More than adequately. There are a couple of places where one can train these with any weapon.
As to the rest of your requests... patience, grasshopper. I have a lot of irons in the fire and so try to make a little progress on a couple of fronts every day, but it's rare that I have the time to run something completely to ground in one day.

Well, as a drow, I see lots of single-edged and thrusting blades trainers, but haven't seen one for crossbow yet, and I'd love to try ranged combat.
/BTW I read 'help shoot' and still don't understand much/

Seven crossbow trainers in drow areas. More than half of those extremely and easily accessible.
Beshaba potatoes.

Trillarel, this list is for missing feats. Skills should be a completely separate post. If you mean a feat that is missing, please list the feat you believe is not available.
