"Train "Daylight Adaptation"

Your will save is not sufficient for this feat. "

Same thing happens for power attack..
I have 8 wisdom, -1 will save.
No reqs for daylight adaptation, i have 20 str as far as power attack is concerned.

This does not seem to be general to all feats; I was able to train packrat with a -1 reflex save and a -4 will save on the testport.

Testing feat training bugs is actually something of a nightmare - one has to create an appropriate trainer if you don't know where one already exists, and I think that has to be done in raw area code. But, I've gotten some help with where to run the required test, so I'll be on it ASAP!

Ok, just tested this, and can not reproduce it. My guess is that Mask has already fixed it! (He does that sometimes, beats me to the punch!) Are you still experiencing this problem?

Indeed, I am still having the issue. I just tried to train the feats again and I am still producing the same message. If it matters, I play a male Mountain Orc of the chaotic evil alignment. I can supply my stats if you would like so you can test under the same exact scenario I am.

Upon reaching level 8, my will save went to 0 instead of -1, and I was able to train feats.

Good. :) In hopes of fixing this issue for future light sensative characters, I'll take a stab at figuring it out.

A trend sometimes seen in D&D feat requirements is that a character must have a base save of +2 in one area or another. That might not be the catch here (the D&D version of the feat does not have a will save requirement of any kind), but it could be.

To clarify, the base save is the portion that comes from your class and level; it has nothing to do with your wisdom, items, feats, or anything else. Some classes (I'll bet priest and wizard) start off with a base save of +2 while the others must be a higher level (level 6 in D&D; I'll guess it's level 15 in FK). When this sort of requirement shows up in feats and prestige classes, it's their way of saying you need to be either in the right class or be a high enough level (or multiclass intelligently).

If I'm right about the issue, then it should be able to be reproduced by making a low level warrior or rogue of one of the light sensative races, then trying to train the feat. If I'm way off, then just ignore me.

Mask reports that he has fixed this, so I'll relegate it to resolved and tackle it on an eventual clean-up cycle if nobody reports experiencing it again before that time.
