Jonathon's Armoury.
W-Warriors Way
Hanging from the walls are all types of armour. Everything the fighting man
or woman could need.
Jonathon the Armourer spits on a breastplate before polishing it.
Jonathon asks you 'Can I interest you in some fine armour?'
Jonathon says to you 'I have some fine calf hide armour here.'
You can't buy anything here.
I have never seen Ol' Jon with nothing to sell. Did something happen?

I have a few instances of this in my logs too, I just forgot to report it.
If more is needed, please let me know.

This seems to be a problem only on the game port; let's see if it resolves with the next copyover. My guess is that someone stole (or bought?) everything in his inventory. Indeed, putting back one of his usual items causes him to offer them for sale, as he should.

But, even his default for-sale items are missing. Those things can't be stolen unless someone bought and gave it to him or sold it to him.

This has to do with miscoded quests using the loot table engine and making the mob purge their inventory before generating the reward, ending up with shopkeeper who are also quest givers with empty inventory.

I fixed this on the game port, but I am planning to move this whole quest elsewhere in Waterdeep eventually. Jonathon is neither canon, nor necessary. He is just some random space filler that could be used somewhere else and better. The key word here is eventually.
