We encountered a problem where the Gates of Waterdeep were locked and closed and the guards would not open the gate.

This was during the day and the stating of names or titles was also not opening the gate either. I was able to open it with the correct key. South Gate.

Not sure what the issue was, but I have added another fail safe measure to the gates during daylight hours that should alleviate issues like this. In the future, please furnish me with as much detail as possible. A log of the interaction is preferred.
