helpfile ships

For the new players who haven't gone through the ship boarding process, can we get a few lines saying that once they have bought the token and given it back to the vendor, that they have to wait for the ship to arrive before a new room exit to the ship appears?

Doesn't the vendor tell the PC to do that?

He does or he did, same with the caravan token seller.

I don't see anything in his programs to that effect, at the moment. It's not easy to make him realize if there is a ship present, but I think at present whether there is one there or not, you'll see
GIVE 2 PLAT TOKEN
The ship token seller exclaims to you 'There ye go!'
The ship token seller gives you a black and red wooden ship token.
The ship token seller says to you 'Remember to give it to me before ye step on the ship.'
GIVE TOKEN TOKEN
You give a black and red wooden ship token to the ship token seller.
The ship token seller exclaims to you 'Enjoy your trip!'
The ship token seller moves to allow XXX to go aboard the ship.
and it might work better to have him add "You are now free to step on board a ship that arrives here." or something like that.
