Glim's strange game

Post by Ceir » Thu Nov 08, 2012 6:21 pm

I decided to try, and apparently accomplished, Glim's game of goblin heads in Golden Oak. After finishing the quest, the qlog reads "You played a game of goblin heads with Glim", I have a floating goblin head following me around, a giant shiny mallet, and no idea what to do.

So, I decided to try the obvious thing. I equipped the mallet and decided to give the head a whack.

Glim quickly joined in the fight! Unfortunately, he joined in on behalf of the head.

I'm not sure if this is a bug or if I screwed up something or -what-, but now I have a shopkeeper out for my head. It's not a particularly important one, but I am somewhat... befuddled.

The game itself seems to have worked perfectly. The problem is, is that it is never a good idea to start a fight...against anything...in the middle of a town or city. More often than not you are not going to like the outcome. :)

I disagree and don't believe that this was the builder's intent. I have modified this mobile to react differently. This change is pending an update to the game port.

Ceir: I will track you down at some point to ameliorate any justice related consequences from this situation.

Thanks, I appreciate it. I managed to escape Golden Oaks without incident, but I have no idea how to check to see if I'm a wanted man or not, and Glim is still a little miffed with me.

I don't believe that area has a QBIT to set you as an enemy. Glim's anger should be dimmed by the copyover in the morning.
