Just out of curiosity, and I post this in bugs because I was under the assumption that all level 0 spells were automatic when given, but bard's seem to be looked over with this. I just completed my school at the Lady's College, and when I type spells, this appears, and no level 0 spells given:
Level 0 spells:
daze ( 1) not known detect magic ( 1) not known
light ( 1) not known mending ( 1) not known
read magic ( 1) not known resistance ( 1) not known
summon instrument ( 1) not known
I don't even know if there are trainers out there to train these spells.
Can I get some clarification with this?

You all should know by now that I am never too big to admit that I know less than nothing about spells. Would a staff member who is savvy on this weigh in please?

Every other caster class has all their level 0 spells pre-learned.

Logging out and in again after being guilded should grant you the cantrip spells at 'amateur' skill level.
