It appears that when you visit Oktor's Imports in the WD merchant's guild.. you lose the city room minimap and go into the overworld minimap style, with no actual other rooms. Just an '@' floating in an abyss of darkness.

Because Oktor's shop is part of another area. It's not a bug per se, but a consequence of that.
