Nitpick: Ascarle area tweak

Post by Ceir » Thu Dec 27, 2012 7:55 am

I discovered the ruined tower in the ruins of Ascarle, and Ceir soon fell into the pit trap at the top of it. The problem is, he was airborne at the time. "Fly" responded with "You are already flying", though the area only allowed speed walk, ostensibly because the tower has cramped quarters. While it's probably a minor thing, the script could be tweaked to allow characters capable of flight to avoid the fall.

The tower surrounding you has seen better days. It is a wonder that it
has not collapsed under its own weight by now. There is a small pedastal
at this end of the room.
You're falling down...

Your fall into this pit is partially broken by a soft squishy sensation.
You realize what it is that broke your fall as you sink beneath the surface
and begin to feel tiny little bites.
(10) The corpse of Maggots fills the air with a foul stench. (superb)
( 2) A pool of spilled blood lies here. (superb)
OUCH! You hit the ground!
You are already flying.
Ruined tower

The tower surrounding you has seen better days. It is a wonder that it
has not collapsed under its own weight by now. You also wonder what has
happened to the floor.
You cannot move at that speed.
Your speed set to walk.
You are already flying.

This is a hard code situation where the room flag NOFLOOR does not recognize that you are flying. I can change it to a proper program which takes flight into account, but we need to fix the NOFLOOR room flag to recognize fly, astral walk, etc.
