You hold a magical brass key in your left hand.
This small key torn from the cloak of useful items will magically
unlock any door, for which you lack the key, but only once.
OOC: syntax - unlock <direction|keyword>.
It can be picked up, held.
It cannot be worn with any other armour.
It is tiny in size and would fit any body type.
The lock turns with a gentle "click."
A magical brass key glows bright momentarily, and vanishes.
You are not using that item.
It's locked.
When I tried using one it did all it was supposed to do but open the door. Lol

Re: magical keys
I think the problem here lies in the verbiage on the key, more than anything else. The key casts the knock spell, and in my experience and testing it does work - but for it to claim it can not open ANY door to which you do not have the key is an overstatement. The knock spell doesn't work on some locks and doors, and I gather you tried to use the key on such a lock. Unfortunately, the key is consumed no matter what. I don't think there is a way to make the key more powerful; rather, the wording should probably be toned down, to something along the lines of

It said that to in there. The lock turns with a gentle "click."
Re: magical keys
This key should work in most cases. There is no problem, as Raona said, with the object itself; it does everything that it could do. To make this work reliably there needs to be an MP command for door states (and a corresponding IF check).
