HP bug with Renduil

Post by Algon » Sat Apr 20, 2013 1:21 am

Ok so...strange happenings.
What happened was, I was in Maos and Polymorphed into a tiger, then went to fight the pirates...normally with a hit from him I take sometime like 3-5% damage. Well this time, each hit was doing at least 20-30% I died within three hits. Now, the strange thing is, when my body was recovered and raised...I died instantly again when I was healed. This happened several times, raise...heal...die. An Imm stepped in and checked him over and said his base HP was now 12 and suggested I post a bug about it. I have a log of the death, but it really doesn't show much other than dying. I cannot see any difference in my stats that would explain the problem.

It was suggested that I might need to have him loaded from a previous saved version to resolve the issue.
If any other information is needed, please let me know.
Thank you!
Jeff

This appears to be resolved.

Ok, I am not sure that he is fixed. In UM 2nd level and was one shot by a shadow, with stone skin on. Also, at level 29 cure light is giving me like 20% health back. Can we have him looked at again please? Something is definitely not right.
My corpse is in the conservatory just in case.

Thanks!

Just wanted to check in and see if anyone had been able to have a look at him. I cant even raise him from the dead because when a tick for healing happens, he dies again. It's pretty weird.

A wood elf with Renduil's stats should have more HP. I changed his HP manually; this should fix the issue for now, but I am curious what will happen when you gain a level.

Just out of curiosity, is there a way I can get the two levels I lost because if this bug back? If not that's fine, but its a bear to gain levels on a wiz lol
Thank you by the way! :)

Let's see how your HP progresses the next time you level. I don't want to meddle in too many things before we can isolate the problem.

Me operating on your character is like getting the plumber to fix your air conditioning.

Had this looked at again this morning. Seems to be all good now! Thanks for all the help with this.
