sold by an elven merchant in Silverymoon. It is worn as armour but I think it should be a cloak.

It is in perfect condition.
It is leather and is light armour.
It is just the right size for you to wear.
It can be picked up, worn on the body.
It is worn as armour.
It is medium in size and would fit a humanoid.
It is a large cloak of supple leather that can be easily drawn
around the body. It has been dyed a dark green and waterproofed.

This is a suggestion, not a bug.

The object in question cannot be worn in the over position because it is made of leather. Armor cannot be worn over, it must be worn on the armor leather. If there is interest then maybe I will change it to cloth and make it worn over, but I don't want to change an object that someone is potentially using.

Baladrana's are a heavy outer wear cloak, so either could probably work.

A cloak is a cloak which is supposed to be worn over things as far as I know.

From googling (as I was trying to find suggestions of this, and it seems like it is very oddly named, and not very searchable) it is a very heavy, leather, or cloth piece, with a large hood, and is always outerwear. So it's actually mismatched on FK.

Yes, but the point Harroghty is making is that since it is thick leather, it can be almost considered to be armour and provide actual protection (AC +2 or +3). If it's to provide protection, then it -has- to be worn as layer_armour because of the code's mechanics.

In a case like this, the baladrana is designed to the builder's intent. If the builder intended it to be worn as armour, then it must be worn as layer_armour, which still allows for an undershirt and a pack (seems reasonable to be).

Harroghty isn't going to change it just based off of one request because it might screw over someone that's currently wearing it for armour.

You could always use your glory and apply for a rename of another cloak you have to a baladrana to custom specifications too. Ie leather in the description even though its cloth.
