Road outside Shadowdale
N-Darkness E-Darkness S-Darkness W-Darkness hp/
NE-Darkness NW-Darkness SE-Darkness SW-Darkness f@p
Other exits:Road /fp
The road is clear of grass and heavily rutted from the passage of many
wagons bearing their heavy loads. There are several potholes that you
must take care to avoid tripping in.
The sky is rainy and a cool northern breeze blows.
drag corpse road
There's no exit in that direction.
This is rather inconvenient because only certain towns have north, east, south, west, etc. directions. My character is not strong enough to pick up heavier objects and then walk into an "other exit" type entrance.

I do not believe this is a bug. According to the helpfile:
Note that with drag, if you are attempting to move something to a location
what appears as a ? or has an exit out of the norm you need to use
drag '<object>' 'somewhere'
Confirmed in the entrance to waterdeep:
drag sword enter does not work, but
drag sword 'somewhere' works correctly, and I move through the "enter" exit.

I believe you use 'drag ~ ?' to do this. It's how you do a certain quest in a certain camp, which has/had no actual named entrance/exit.

Ah! Look at that. It worked. I wonder though, what would happen if someone used this trick in an area that had more than one "other exit", such as in Ardeep where there is the path and the glade.

Interesting. I cannot find a way to drag an item through the "glade" exit in Ardeep. I'll leave this here for someone higher up than me to comment on.

Raona: Up to you where to place this one.
The summary is that while drag object 'somewhere' works in rooms with only one somewhere exit, it cannot differentiate between multiple somewhere exits. Therefore the recommendation is to add the opportunity to specify the 'somewhere' e.g. drag object path, etc.
