Paladin Mounts sensing evil even when supressed by magic

Post by Gwain » Sun Jun 30, 2013 5:42 pm

I've noticed on two occasions recently that characters with alignment supressing items (items that hide true alignment from magic) are still being identified as evil by paladin mounts. Spells like know alignment and detect evil are supressed by these affects. So the mounts can still sense evil and it may have been something overlooked when the items of alignment hiding entered the game.
Justice is not neccesarily honourable, it is a tolerable business, in essence you tolerate honour until it impedes justice, then you do what is right.

Spelling is not necessarily correct :)

The paladin warhorse's reaction is governed by the special function, not by any program that I can easily manipulate.

I would personally suggest removing the echo. It's not helpful to the paladin in question, as they have persistent detect evil, and it's often disruptive...

Imagine if the mount took a dump 30 times in a one hour roleplay - it's pretty difficult to ignore after awhile.

This aspect of the mount is no longer useful.
